Recently, NACCAS has received questions from schools regarding
salons who want to pay for the training of a new employee.
Specifically, they wanted to know what kind of contract or
agreements should be drawn up for these special cases.
As part of our continued service to the industry, NACCAS has developed general
agreements that can be modified to fit each individual situation. A school and
salon or salon and student entering into a training contract based on one of
these models should customize it to reflect all of the elements of their agreement
and to meet requirements of state law. Some clauses that have been used in customized
contracts are included in the "optional clauses" section of each model.
