Description: 

After downloading the jinitiator program and clicking the link after a successful login in, the browser says Oracle Forms, but nothing loads into the page.

Cause: 
After downloading the plug-in (jinit11816.exe), the program was not installed correctly.

Solution:

Run the previously downloaded Java Plugin (jinit or jinit11816):

click Start > search > click "For Files or Folders"

The Search window pops up. In the field that says "files or folders named", type the following:
"*jinit*" (no quotes). Click search.

The files mathching the criteria display to the right. In the results, double click the jinit11816.exe setup program and continue following the instructions on the screen.

If you only see the file "jinit.exe" and are not sure if it is version 1.1.8.16. Double click it. The program will say, "This will install Oracle JInitiator 1.1.x.xx". If the programs says it will install any other version other than "Oracle JInitiator 1.1.8.16", click no. If it says it will install "Oracle JInitiator 1.1.8.16", click yes. Follow the installation instructions, and when it is finished try to login again.

Note: you only need to install the pluggin once.
